Description
In this activity, students will first analyze a primary source document from the Patriot and Loyalist perspectives. Using these documents for inspiration and their other knowledge of the American Revolution, students will write and present a soapbox speech to the class to persuade them to take their side.
This includes:
- The assignment page and rubric as a PDF and editable Word document.
- A primary source and questions from the Patriot perspective.
- A primary source and questions from the Loyalist perspective.
- Answers for the primary source questions.
